Ayoka Zahir is a contemporary painter, born in 1982 in Laon. He developed an early passion for art, spending many hours drawing from a young age.

An unconventional path

His emergence as an artist is relatively a second life for him. Indeed, after graduating from high school, he embarked on a long career in the banking sector, holding positions of responsibility within the Trading Rooms of Ecobank, Société Générale, and BNP.

Artistic rebirth

His passion for art resurfaced during the Covid pandemic in 2020. He started drawing again, then his loved ones (especially his colleagues) encouraged him to paint and do graffiti. Almost like a revelation, this experience gave him the opportunity to explore his talent and hone his skills. Due to his natural curiosity, he began to develop different identities, which are reflected in an eclectic artistic universe.

The mysterious artist

Each personality could be a different signature. Before he began exhibiting his work, Ayoka Zahir had already sold about fifty of his pieces. An absolute fan of Star Wars, the artist remained anonymous to his collectors for a long time. Indeed, Ayoka Zahir delivered his works wearing a Darth Vader mask.
